New features / cleanup

Just made some minor changes on geoheartbeat: transparent favicon, moved addthis-button to footer the loading bar is now centered over the map.



As you can see, there is now one new feature included: geo-bookmarks!

First of all, every visitor will get according to their geolocation (thanks to maxmind.com) a custom button on the top navigation furthest right - in my case "germany" which practically just links to http://geoheartbeat.com/germany/
Clicking on this link will center and zoom the map into "Germany". With this new feature you can now just bookmark your favorite place (e.g. http://geoheartbeat.com/australia/ ) instead of having the process to zoom & pan to your favorite location again on every visit.

geoheartbeat is a blogger now!

it seems that geoheartbeat.com is going to be a ongoing project. It just makes fun to play around with this project so I will keep you all up with site updates on this blog :)
